Since 1977, Women's Centre of York Region has offered a safe place where women can get the support to build self-esteem, the tools to develop a plan of action, and the opportunity to build the skills they need to help themselves and their families.

Women's Centre of York Region is a registered charity that assists women from all backgrounds and cultures in York Region.

We provide counseling and skills development programs and basic needs services to help women get their lives back.

Women's Centre of York Region receives funding from Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services, United Way of York Region, Regional Municipality of York Region, Homelessness Partnership Initiative, as well as through our own fundraising initiatives and private donations.
